Film maker Rohit Shetty has denied the rumours that Kareena Kapoor is cast opposite Shahrukh Khan for his upcoming movie Chennai Express. But Shetty assured that the leading lady for the film will soon be finalized.
Shetty in an interview said, “I have not really (approached Kareena Kapoor), she knows what I am making. I might do something else with Kareena”. There are strong reports that actress Deepika Padukone will be finalized for the role. Rohit said that the lead lady will be finalized in the next ten days. Surprisingly, ‘Chennai Express’ will be the first project where Rohit will be working without Ajay Devgn.
