61st Britannia Filmfare Awards 2015 – Winners – Photos

Stars from Bollywood descended at the 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards in Mumbai on January 15, 2016. Actor Ranveer Singh walked away with the gorgeous black lady for the Best Actor for ‘Bajirao Mastani’ while beau Deepika Padukone claimed the Best Actress Award for her movie ‘Piku’.

Moreover, the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ team walked away with some of the major awards including the Best Director.

Ranveer Singh wins the award for Best Actor for Bajirao Mastani
The Best Actress Award goes to Deepika Padukone for Piku.
The award for Best Film goes to Bajirao Mastani.
The prestigious Best Director Award goes to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Bajirao Mastani.
The award for Best Debutant (Male) goes to Sooraj Pancholi for Hero.
The award for Best Debutant (Female) goes to Bhumi Pednekar for ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’.
Neeraj Ghaywan wins the Best Debut Director Award for ‘Masaan’.
The Critics Award for Best Film goes to ‘Piku’.
Amitabh Bachchan wins the Critics Award for Best Actor (Male) for Piku.
The Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor goes to Anil Kapoor for ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’
The Award for Best Story goes to V Vijayendra Prasad for Bajrangi Bhaijaan
Kangana Ranaut receives the Best Actor Female Critics Choice Award for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’
Priyanka Chopra wins the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) award for ‘Bajirao Mastani The Award for Best Screenplay goes to Juhi Chaturvedi for ‘Piku’
RD Burman Award for upcoming musical talent goes to Armaan Malik
Award for Best Music goes to Ankit Tiwari, Meet Bros. Anjjan and Amaal Malik for ‘Roy’
Arijit Singh wins the award for Best Singer (male) for ‘Sooraj dooba hai’ from Roy.
The award for Best Female singer goes to Shreya Ghoshal for ‘Deewana mastani’ for Bajirao Mastani. This is her 6th Filmfare Award.
The Best Costume Award goes to Bajirao Mastani
Best Sound Design award goes to Shajith Koyeri for Talvar
The award for Best Production Design goes to Sujeet Sawant, Sriram Iyengar and Saloni Dhatrak for Bajirao Mastani
Best Cinematography award goes to Manu Anand for Dum Laga Ke Haish
Pandit Birju Maharaj Best Choreography Award for ‘Mohe rang do lal’
Best Production Design Award goes Sujit Sawant, Saloni and Sriram Iyenger for Bajirao Mastani
Best Action award goes to Sham Kaushal for Bajirao Mastani
Best Background Score award goes to Anupam Roy for Piku
Best Lyrics award to Irshad Kamil for Agar Tum Saath Ho (Tamasha)
Best Music award goes to Ankit Tiwari, Meet Bros. Anjjan and Amaal Mallik for Roy
Best screenplay award to Juhi Chaturvedi for Piku
