Prithviraj Sukumaran to debut in Bollywood with Aiyyaa

Prithviraj Sukumaran is a superstar down in the south with about 80 films to his credit. The actor will be making his Bollywood debt opposite actress Rani Mukherjee in the upcoming movie ‘Aiyyaa’.

Sukumaran said that the movie is a Bolllywood movie and that he is completely a new entity. The south actor also said that the movie is running on Rani’s shoulders and he is happy about it.

The actor also added that he would love the fact that people go and watch the movie as Rani’s movie and discover him. Sukumaran about the movie said that at the end of the day it is a love story about two people and they are Rani and him.

The movie is produced by Anurag Kashyap and stars Rani and Prithviraj in the led role. Rani in the movie plays the role of a Maharashtrian girl who falls in love with a south Indian boy. Sukumaran has earlier acted in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films which include ‘Indian Rupee’, ‘Vaasthavam’, ‘Classmates’ and Tamil version of ‘Raavanan’. On the other hand Rani has for a long time being away from the silver screens and is returning for her audience with the comedy flick.Mukherjee was last seen in the movie ‘No One Killed Jessica’.
