BollywoodGaram.com: Actor Ranbir Kapoor and Nita Ambani, the Reliance Foundation chairperson, launched the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports initiative in Mumbai on August 27, 2016. The Youth Sports is a RIL initiative to professionalize school and college sports.
The advisory board consists of leading sports personalities including Saina Nehwal, Sachin Tendulkar and Leander Paes.
The cities Kochi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Mumbai and Pune will be the initial participant cities.
Nita Ambani is also a part of the International Olympic Committee. At the launch of this initiative to professionalize sports for youth, a football match was conducted between Wilson College and H. R. College at the Bandra Kurla complex.
