The Ghazi Attack Telugu movie press event

Tollywood actors Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu graced ‘The Ghazi Attack’ press event held at Hyderabad on January 24, 2016. Taapsee, known for her Bollywood movie ‘Pink’ looked pretty in a yellow crop top and a matching skirt while Rana maintained a simple look with a shirt and grey denims.

The press event also saw the presence of director Sankalp Reddy. The entire team interacted with the media and was all smiles for the shutterbugs. The upcoming Telugu movie is directed by Debutant Reddy and superstar Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice for the Hindi version of the flick.

Reports say that it is India’s first underwater/war-at-sea movie. The movie is inspired by true incidences from the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. The story is about an executive naval officer of the Indian Submarine S21 and his team who remain underwater for 18 days. The movie has talked about how the PNS Ghazi sank off the coast of Vishakhapatnam in the year 1971.

‘The Ghazi Attack’ also stars Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni, Om puri, Satyadev Kancharana, Malyaban Lahiri and others. The movie is produced by Anvesh Reddy, Venkatramana Reddy and Prasad V Potluri and is all set to hit the theatres on February 17, 2017.
