Randhir Kapoor hospitalized after chest pain complaint

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor’s father Randhir Kapoor was recently admitted to a hospital after he complained of chest pain and breathlessness. The actor was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital on December 15, 2012, in Mumbai.

The 65-year-old was kept under observation in the ICU section of the hospital and then was shifted to a private ward. The ‘Housefull’ actor was reportedly taken care of by Dr. Farukh Udiwala. Media reports also said that Kapoor underwent several tests in the hospital and is now doing fine.

According to sources, there is no word on when the actor will be discharged. The Kapoor family is concerned about the actor’s health and was seen visiting the hospital as well. Randhir was last seen in the comedy flick ‘Housefull 2’ which was released in 2012.

Two months ago the actor was also busy in the preparation of his daughter Kareena Kapoors wedding with Saif Ali Khan. Kapoor was also seen on the red carpet during the premier of Bollywood movie ‘Talaash’. Kapoors family said that the actor is at present undergoing normal tests as prescribed by the doctor and for now there is no cause to worry.

Randhir’s hospitalization had mistakenly led to rumours of the hospitalization of Ranbir Kapoor, which led to many of the young actors fans to getting anxious about his health.
