Swara Bhaskar turns showstopper for Amoh by Jade
Indian actress Swara Bhaskar turned muse for designer Monica Shah and Karishma Swali at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 in Mumbai on February 3, 2017. Swara was seen wearing a pretty metallic silver midi covered with a long lace.
The designer duo have the Amoh by Jade luxury label that showcased their collection Amaat for the coming season. The collection had unique weaves, colors and craftsmanship. The designers put up a great show with some great outfits with eye catching colors including crimson, ivory, coral and tangerine.
The outfits also had some amazing structure corsets with complex handwork and off-shoulder detailing on coral flowing skirts for the prospective brides. Another outfit that caught attention was a rose lehenga with a classic ivory blouse and was perfectly styled with a ruby cape. The Amaat collection showcased by the designer duo is perfect for the coming season with looks who desire the unconventional.
On the work front, Swara was last seen in the movie ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ in 2016 and is currently filming for the upcoming movie ‘Anarkali of Arrah’. Swara will be seen playing the role of a singer who sings double meaning songs and is very unapologetic about her sexuality. The actress made her debut in Bollywood with the movie ‘Guzaarish’ but shot to fame with the movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ in which she plays the role of Payal Sinha. Swara was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for best Supporting actress. Not many might have noticed that the actress also appeared as the Battle Hour Anchor in the movie ‘Chillar Party’.
