Diana Penty dazzles on the ramp in gold

Day 3 of the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 saw actress Diana Penty walk the ramp for designer Payal Singhal on February 3, 2016. Diana, who made her debut in Bollywood with the movie ‘Cocktail’, looked pretty on the ramp in a Payal Singhal outfit.

The designer showcased her collection ‘Lady M’ which is inspired by the dark romanticism of the murder mystery ‘Death On The Nile’ by Agatha Christie. The actress has an experience to walk on Indian as well as international fashion weeks . Singhal while talking about her muse in an earlier interview said that Diana is a fitting embodiment of the collection.

The designer added, “It has a very sultry 1930s’ Art Deco vibe and Diana’s personality that is all about restrained glam, is the perfect fit”. Diana carried a dramatic look with a pastel color lehenga with gold embellishments and a simple shimmery loose top.

On the work front, the actress began her career in modeling in 2005 and made her acting debut with Homi Adajania’s movie ‘Cocktail’ opposite actors Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. The movie was a commercial success and the actress garnered praise for her work. Diana was also seen in the movie ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ opposite actor Abhay Deol in 2016. The actress is currently filming for ‘Lucknow Central’ which will produced by Nikhil Advani and stars Farhan Akhtar. The movie earlier had Kriti Sanon on board as the female lead, but later Farhan announced that Sanon will not be a part of the movie.
