Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is all set to be back from her maternity break. The ‘Chameli’ actress hit the ramp for designer Anita Dongre at the Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 grand finale in Mumbai on February 5, 2017. Kareena Kapoor Khan looked splendid in a white ensemble.
The actress walked the ramp after just 46 days after giving birth to her son Taimur Ali Khan. Kareena grabbed everyone’s attention as she walked the ramp with ease and poise. The actress sported minimum make up as the glow on her face was enough to dazzle the ramp. Kareena’s make-up was done by international make-up artist whose clients include Kim Kardashian, Ashley Judd, Britney Spears, Cindy Crawford and Eva Mendes.
The last season saw Kareena flaunting her baby bump as she walked the ramp in a royal lehenga by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Kareena interacted with the media and expressed, “It feels amazing. It’s just been day 46 (post delivery) and it feels great. The idea is to do what I have been always loved to do, which is work. It is a part of my DNA, it’s a part of me. It’s never going to change.” The actress was all praises for Dongre who put up a show inspired by Lakme’s theme ‘Liquid Gold’ that inspires women to be independent, work and be out there.
The models on the ramp displayed 60 ensembles as ‘What a wonderful World’ played at the background. The collection by the designer included saris, lehenga cholis, long tunics, short dresses for women and sherwanis, vest coats, kurta and pyjamas for men.
