Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh Launch ‘Phillauri’ Trailer

Anushka Sharma turns producer again

Actors Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and director Anshai Lal released the trailer of their upcoming movie ‘Phillauri’ at an event in Mumbai on February 6, 2017. Anushka, Diljit and Anshai came prepared for a one-on-one session with the media and talked about the upcoming romantic comedy movie.

The ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actress looked great in a blue crop top and black trousers while Diljit was seen in a white pullover and grey denims. Once again Anushka has donned the hat of a producer for the movie along with brother Karnesh under the banner of Fox Star Studios and Clean Slate Films.

The official trailer has been released and shows Anushka playing the role of a ghost from the village of Phillaur, Punjab. The residents of the town are known as Phillauris. Going by the trailer it seems like a fun movie, as the prospective groom played by Sooraj Sharma is haunted by the ghost. The makers of the movie released the official poster on February 3, 2017 and the movie is all set to hit the theatres on March 3, 2017.

Anushka was last seen in the movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. The last movie that Anushka had produced was ‘NH10’ that narrated a story of honor killing which is still prevalent in many parts of the country. Anushka is also preparing for her upcoming movie ‘The Ring’ which has Shahrukh Khan playing the lead. The movie is directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Gauri Khan and Imtiaz. This is the third movie that will feature Shahrukh and Anushka together after ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’.
