Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin unveiled a new winter collection from the Cottonworld Winter Campaign. The actress has also been chosen as the face of the brand campaign for the fact that she is smart, intellectual and dares to speak her mind and be different.

The brand photoshoot has shown Kalki sporting the collection with ease and poise. The winter collection by the brand is fresh and well designed. The actress is also a part of Adopt-a-Tree initiative which is a small way the brand Cottonworld can help make a difference. The brand has shown deep interest in terms of caring for our Earth and has also made attempts to make sure the clothing is natural. The entire idea is maintained as natural as even the cloth bags that are given to the customers with their purchase are labeled ‘I am not a Virgin’ as they are made of 100% recycled material.

The cloth bags also come with a printed message that says, “I am 100% recycled & my mother is a luxury hotel’s bed linen. My glow comes from azo-free pigment colours which are not harmful to the environment. The way I was born saves electricity, water & trees. Lastly, I am very efficient. I can do the work of 365 plastic bags in one year.” Even the price tags and envelops for the seeds are made of paper from elephant and rhino poop and this is another attempt to protect trees and also the environment.

Kalki is known for selecting movies which are thought provoking. The actress was last seen in the movie ‘Mantra’ and is preparing for numerous upcoming projects including ‘Jiah Aur Jiah’ which is currently in the post production stage. Kalki shot to fame wither debut movie ‘Dev D’ for which she won a Filmfare award for best Supporting Actress.
