Arjun Rampal is all set with his upcoming movie ‘Aankhen 2’ which is the sequel to the 2002 movie, ‘Aankhen’. The actor was seen promoting the sequel at an event in Mumbai on February 16, 2017.
Rampal, while talking about ‘Aankhen 2’ said that he is not competing with anyone but has a challenge to raise the standard. The actor while interacting with the media said, “Aankhen is always a special film in my career and still people talk about this film wherever I go… technically we are much improved. Now we want to take the movie to another level”.
The makers of the movie are yet to begin the shoot of the movie and the makers have promised more thrill with some more action sequences. Arjun assured, “There is only one and half months left to start the shoot in South Africa. We will be doing some amazing stunts. So we are training hard for that”. The actor added that he is trying to carry forward the role from the prequel and is training hard to enhance it.
The earlier movie had Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Paresh Rawal, Arjun and Sushmita Sen. But the sequel will have an even more interesting cast with Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Arshad Warsi and Ileana D’Cruz. Arjun also informed that they wanted Akshay for the sequel but could not get him on board due to his busy schedule. The makers of the movie released the poster of ‘Aankhein 2’ in which we can see three actors holding sticks with their faces not seen clearly. ‘Aankhein 2’ is expected to hit theatres by Diwali, 2017.
