Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Vishal Bharadwaj Promote ‘Rangoon’

Rangoon promotions on full swing as release date approaches

Actors Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut are leaving no stone unturned in promotions of their upcoming movie ‘Rangoon’. The actors were seen promoting the movie in Mumbai on February 16, 2017. Shahid and Kangana were also accompanied by the director Vishal Bharadwaj. The Sajid Nadiadwala production is set during World War II and has portrayed the life of Mary Ann Evans, who is also known as Fearless Nadia.

The movie also stars Saif Ali Khan, who gave a miss to the promotions. Kangana looked pretty in a short lace outfit while Shahid was seen in a casual t-shirt. The trailer of the movie brought plenty of appreciation for the lead actors and increased the expectations of the audience. Shahid, in a recent interview shared that his father Pankaj Kapoor recently saw the flick and was impressed by his performance.

Pankaj had commented that he did not see Shahid in the movie but saw only Nawab Mallik, the character that he plays. Shahid expressed that his father’s comments was a huge compliment for him. For Saif, it is an exciting time as he is back to work from a paternity leave. The ‘Cocktail’ actor said that he is excited for ‘Rangoon’ and that he is hoping for a great response from the audience.

Kangana, in a recent interview expressed her excitement over the movie which is all set to hit theatres on February 24, 2017. The actress, who did not like the idea of marriage a few years back, said that she would like to settle down. Kangana opened up and said, “It is not the insecurity of growing older, but it’s really nice to come back to a partner who is watching your back.” Watch this space to catch an exclusive review of the movie ‘Rangoon’.
