Akshay Kumar Celebrates Success of ‘Jolly LLB 2’

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has all the reasons to celebrate. His movie ‘Jolly LLB 2’ had hit theatres on February 10, 2017. The Akshay and Huma Qureshi starrer movie is on the verge of entering the Rs. 100 crore club. This is also the seventh movie of Akshay that will hit Rs. 100 crores at the box office. Akshay Kumar hosted a press event to celebrate the success of the movie and interacted with the media.

The actor is seen playing the role of a lawyer, who has taken up a case and has a challenge to get justice. Akshay has become the actor of Bollywood with a Midas Touch as the movie becomes a hit. It is not just the mere presence of the star in the movie, but the actor also makes attempts to ensure that it becomes a success. The actor not just selects his stories sensibly but also works with the team in terms of minimizing the budget and timely completion of the project.

Akshay and Huma have worked hard in terms of the promotions and are celebrating its success today. In terms of the box office collections, the movie managed to collect big even on the second Monday since its release. On the 11th day, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ collected 2.48 crores and took its total collection to Rs. 97.92 crores. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#JollyLLB2 [Week 2] Fri 4.14 cr, Sat 6.35 cr, Sun 7.24 cr, Mon 2.48 cr. Total: Rs 97.92 cr. India biz.”

This has clearly indicated that the movie is surely going to hit the Rs. 100 crore mark soon. Even Shahrukh Khan managed to get his 7th Rs. 100 crore movie with ‘Raees’. During a time when makers are failing to come up with good movies, Akshay has ensured that there are also good makers in the industry.
