Amitabh Bachchan and Amjad Ali Khan unveil Rabab to Sarod album
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya Bachchan were present at the launch of Saregama’s musical journey ‘Rabab To Sarod’ at an event in Mumbai on February 23, 2017. Popular Sarod players, Amaan Ali and Ayaan Ali Khan launched their new musical journey in presence of their father, Amjad Ali Khan.
The guests at the event were mesmerized by a performance by the brothers Amaan and Ayaan. Amitabh, at the launch event said, “I feel really special today to be a part of this event. Both Amaan and Ayaan introduced to me by their father Amjad Ali Khan as toddlers so many years ago and today to see them as a master of their craft by eminent Amjad Ali Khan is truly wonderful journey.”
Mr. Bachchan added that following tradition is a wonderful aspect of the society and culture and it is good to see when children carry forward the legacy of their generation. The ‘Black’ actor also said that he listens to songs when he is driving or when he hits the gym.
