Govinda, Kangana Ranaut and others grace Rangoon screening
Makers of the movie ‘Rangoon’ hosted a special screening for friends and colleagues from Bollywood. The screening event saw Kangana Ranaut, Govinda with wife Sunita, Javed Akhtar with wife Shabana Azmi, Kabir Khan with wife Mini Mathur, Rajkumar Yadav and Sajid Nadiadwala with wife, Warda.
Kangana appeared in a red and white checked outfit and smiled for the shutterbugs. The actress, in an earlier interview talked about her character in ‘Rangoon’ and said, “She is a stuntwoman and it’s an amalgamation of many characters in the film. I am known to speak my mind and to say things that I stand for is right. That sort of conviction and identity was important for the role.”
The movie also stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan who were missing from the event. The Vishal Bharadwaj movie is set against the backdrop of World War II and is co-produced by Vishal, Ashish Paul and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
On the other hand, Govinda is currently in the news for his upcoming movie ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ in which the actor will be seen playing the role of a cop.
