Kajol, who will be returning to films with the upcoming film Ela, was snapped outside a salon in Mumbai on March 23, 2018. The Dilwale actress looked gorgeous in a yellow summery dress as she came out of the salon and walked towards her car.
Kajol was last seen in the film Dilwale, opposite Shah Rukh Khan which was directed by Rohit Shetty. The film also starred Varun Dhawan and was released in 2015. The upcoming film Ela is directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Ajay Devgn.
Ela is an adaptation of the Gujarati play Beta Kaagdo by Anand Gandhi. Kajol in the film will be seen playing the role of a single parent. The story is about the relationship shared between a mother and her son. Kajol in an earlier interview talked about the film and said, “I liked the script honestly, liked the lines, everything. I like my character of Ela (a single mother), I identify with many of her things.”
The actress had also worked in the Tamil film VIP 2 opposite south superstar Dhanush.
