Lead actors of the upcoming film Paltan are busy in promotions. Arjun Rampal, Gurmeet Chaudhary, Sonu Sood and Harshwardhan Rane were snapped at a promotional photo shoot in Mumbai on August 22, 2018. Filmmaker J. P Dutta is once again returning with another war film that he is best at.
This time Paltan is based on the 1967 Nathu La and Cho La clashes at the Sikkim border after the 1962 Sino-Indian war. The film also stars Jackie Shrof, Siddhanth Kapoor, Luv Sinha, Esha Gupta, Sonal Chauhan and others.
The film is produced by Zee Studios and J.P Films and will be released in theatres on September 7, 2018. The background score of the film was composed for Sanjoy Chowdhury and the songs have been composed by Anu Malik. The lyrics have been penned down by Javed Akhtar. J P Dutta had last come up with the films like Umrao Jaan, LOC Kargil, Refugee and others.
