Shahid Kapoor and Yami Gautam have started off the promotions of their upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. With less than a month left for the film release, the lead actors have got down for the promotions. Shahid and Yami were snapped at Radio Mirchi Studio in Mumbai on August 23, 2018.
Yami looked pretty in a blue wide legged pants with an orange printed top while Shahid was seen in a casual grey t-shirt, camouflage pants and a grey jacket. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Stree which also stars Rajkummar Rao.
Batti Gul Meter Chalu is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and is scheduled for a release on September 21, 2018. The film is based on the issue of rising electricity bills in the country. The cast and crew shot for most of the film at Tehri in Uttarakhand. Yami and Shahid will be seen playing the roles of lawyers.
