Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor witnessed a new Guinness World Record of creating a formation of a big helmet by school children in Mumbai on January 31, 2019. Kapoor was a part of an event that helped to spread awareness about road safety measures. The record was created by 5,000 children from seven schools of the city at a ground to form the shape of a helmet.
ICICI Lombard General Insurance has been promoting the cause of Road Safety through its CSR initiative “Ride To Safety” since 2015. The Padmaavat actor during the event interacted with the audience and said that the most important thing in life is health. Shahid added, “These children are the future of our country and they are the next generation so, they have to make sure that everybody follows safety rules and road rules.”
On the work front, Shahid was last seen in the film Batti Gul Meter Chalu which also starred Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam but could not impress the audience and critics and did an average business at the box office. The actor is currently filming for the upcoming flick Kabir Singh which is the Hindi remake of the Telugu flick Arjun Reddy.
