Siddharth Anand directorial Pathaan is running successfully all over the globe and has already managed to create history at the box office. The action sequences in the film have been praised by the audience and critics but not many are aware what it took for the makers to implement and execute the sequences. The popular action sequence between Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in Dubai could be shot only after the entire Burj Khalifa boulevard was shut. This was the first time that a busy location was shut down for any film in the world.
The director revealed that the toughest action sequences to be executed in Pathaan was the one on top of a moving train, mid-air with the planes and the one in Dubai around the boulevard around Burj Khalifa. Reports say that no Hollywood film has been able to do this in the past. It was with the support of the Dubai police and the authorities the action sequences could be shot.
The director also revealed that some of his friends living at the Boulevard had revealed that they received circulars that informed them about the day and time the location would be shut so they could plan their time accordingly.
Shah Rukh Khan too reacted that Dubai has been very kind as it is a heavy traffic place. The Bollywood superstar is the tourism ambassador of Dubai which made things smooth for the makers.
