Shilpa Shetty stuns in a Masaba creation at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/ Festive 2014.
Bollywood diva Shilpa Shetty sizzled on the ramp as she walked for Indian designer Masaba Gupta on August 19, 2014. Gupta showcased her couture collection titled ‘Wanderess’ at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week Winter/ Festive 2014 in Mumbai.
The Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2014 started off on August 19, 2014 and will go on till August 24, 2014.
Mrs. Raj Kundra stunned the ramp as the showstopper in a printed black gown with an attached dupatta. The ‘Dhadkan’ actress expressed, “I feel elated taking the ramp for Masaba. I hope I have done justice to her collection.”
Designer Masaba Gupta, who also looked stunning in an avant-garde black, white and gold ensemble, said, “I was nervous about today’s collection it’s about free spirit women who loves to travel.”
Masaba’s collection drew heavy inspiration from the style of Goan women who are known to be adventurous and bold when it comes to their sartorial choices.
The garments were dominated by flowery prints and geometric leaves, which gave them a beach-like feel.
Masaba’s collection had slinky gowns, flared minis, long sleeved and thigh length jackets with flared pants and sari gowns, all of which immersed onlookers into a 1960’s feel.
The audience also appreciate the trapeze printed tops with bell sleeves, shararas with bell bottom style, tail coat cholis with long sleeves.
