Indian designer Priyam Narayan showcased his collection on day 5 of the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 at Palladium Hotel in Mumbai on August 30, 2015. Narayan’s collection paid tribute to the modern independent women who are strongly rooted to feminism.
The designer grabbed inspiration from the Biblical times but the main focus was on the theme of a French artist Gustave Dores painting with the title ‘The Song of Deborah’. The collection included kaftans, jackets and capes in basic silhouettes.
Structured shoulder outfits and in vibrant orange caught the attention of the audience.
