Celebrities from Bollywood attended the opening ceremony of Pro-Kabaddi League 2016 held in Mumbai on June 25, 2016. The opening ceremony saw the attendance of Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Kiran Rao, Ranbir Kapoor, cricketer Virat Kohli and others.
Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma sung the National Anthem at the beginning of the new season. The first game was started off by Abhishek’s Jaipur Pink Panthers.
