Hrithik Roshan joins Times Now celebrations
Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan attended the Times Now celebration event held in Mumbai on February 6, 2017. The popular English news channel Times Now celebrated being India’s most watched channel with its presence in more than one hundred countries.
Hrithik, at the celebratory event looked cool in a pair of denims, t-shirt and a white jacket and completed his look with a cap. The Times Now event also saw the presence of the Chief Editor and Senior Vice President, Rahul Shivshankar. The ‘Kaabil’ star was seen cutting a cake that signified Times Now’s presence in 100 countries.
Hrithik is currently enjoying the success of his movie ‘Kaabil’ that hit the theatres on January 25, 2017. The movie also stars Yami Gautam and is directed by Sanjay Gupta. ‘Kaabil’ hit theatres along with the Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Raees’. Initially, the ‘Kaabil’ producer Rakesh Roshan was not happy with the release of ‘Raees’ but is now satisfied after both the movies running successful in theatres.
Before ‘Kaabil’, Hrithik was last seen in the movie ‘Mohenjo Daro’ directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. The movie which also starred Pooja Hegde, was equally successful at the box office.
Times Now has been one of the most controversial, yet outspoken news channels that began in the metropolitan city of Mumbai years ago. To remind you, there was the infamous News Hour hosted by former Times Now honcho, Arnab Goswami, that brought to light many events that affected the common man. Though Times Now was not seen as a professional news reporting channel as compared to its competitors, it did manage to garner plenty of attention from the public.
