Both families danced away to the tunes of latest Bollywood tracks
The wedding festivities of Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rukmini Sahay continued with the mehndi ceremony. The entire venue at Sajjangarh Fort at Udaipur was tuned in to a mini festival-like atmosphere.
Neil and Rukmini were seen wearing coordinated outfits with the décor. Rukmini looked pretty with mehndi on her hands coupled with floral jewellery. The entrance of the venue was decorated with a marigold flower curtain veil that was flown in from Kolkata with rose petals for the sweet smell. The bride and the groom relatives left thumb impressions and goodwill messages on a tree of life cardboard that Neil will be framing at his new residence. There were turban makers who curated 45 different styles, parrot tarot card reader, nail art and live bangle making counter made it a wonderful ceremony for the couple as well as the guests.
The evening began with the sangeet ceremony which was attended by near and dear family members. The ceremony saw choreographed performances by Mukesh family along with Rishi Kapoor. Pamela Chopra was also there to bless the couple in person. The décor of the day was themed Arabic. Neil’s friends were seen dancing to the tunes of ‘Kala Chashma, ‘Tu Mera Hero’, ‘Nashe Si Chad Gayi’.
Nitin and Nishi were seen dancing to the tunes of ‘Yahi Kahi Jiyaara’ and the Sahay family was seen performing a dance sequence on ‘Nachange Saari Raat’, ‘Ye Mera Dil’ and ‘Badan Pe Sitare’. The guests were showered with take home goodies of Mojri from Patiala, Punjabi Parandas from Ludianaa and attractive leheriya dupattas that were handpicked by Nishi and Mukesh from the local market.
