Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna spend quality time minus children
Bollywood hunk and action-man, Akshay Kumar knows how to kill it in his professional and personal aspects of life. Being the doting husband and father that he is, he makes sure to spend time with his family when he isn’t filming a hardcore scene for the big screen. The Khiladi actor was snapped on a romantic dinner date with his wife, former actress Twinkle Khanna at a popular restaurant in Mumbai on March 8, 2017.
Husband and wife were both dressed in casuals, and looked smitten with each other as they stepped out of the restaurant, smiling for the shutterbugs. Akshay wore a white t-shirt and jeans, coupled with a beanie. As for Twinkle, she had on a pair of jeans and a white printed kurta.
It’s great to see such a high-profile couple still very much in love with each other. Though both juggle hectic schedules, they make sure they spend quality time with each other and give each other ample space for pursuing their careers. Just this past Valentine’s Day, the couple celebrated the day of love by venturing out for lunch together. Akshay and Twinkle got married in 2001 and are parents to a son, Aarav and daughter, Nitara.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in the movie Jolly LLB 2, which did well at the box office and did justice to its predecessor by the same name. The actor is currently preparing for his latest flick, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha. The shooting for the movie recently concluded, and is in the post-production stage. The film is set for a June 2, 2017 release. The movie is based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’ and also stars Sana Khan, Anupam Kher and Bhumi Pednekar.
Toilet – Ek Prem Katha is directed by Shree Narayan Singh produced by Friday Film Works, Kriarj Entertainment and Grazing Goat Pictures. Akshay is currently preparing for a movie based on the real life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, the man who came up with the idea of low-cost sanitary pads.
