Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu and Anupam Kher Promote Naam Shabana in Delhi

Naam Shabana promotions begin in the country’s capital

Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Anupam Kher and Manoj Bajpayee promoted their upcoming movie Naam Shabana in Delhi on March 19, 2017. The sequel to the movie Baby is all set to hit theatres on March 31, 2017.

Lead actress Taapsee Pannu became popular for her action packed role in Baby and due to the success of that movie, the actress will now be seen bringing on some more action in her latest flick, Naam Shabana.

Reports say that the actress underwent intense training for judo and mixed martial arts and also taught some much-needed self-defence techniques to women through social media with co-star Akshay Kumar.

For the promotion of her movie, Taapsee Pannu looked great in a printed outfit while co-star Akshay Kumar was seen in a casual full sleeved t-shirt and white pants. Anupam Kher looked great in a white shirt and blue denims while Manoj appeared in a red printed t-shirt and black pants.

Akshay, who played the protagonist in Baby will be seen playing a cameo in the sequel. The actor recently released the trailer of Naam Shabana through social media. The movie also stars Danny Denzongpa and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Naam Shabana is directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Neeraj Pandey under the banner of Friday Filmworks.

It’s great to see Bollywood movies transition to more women-centric roles, and have  a women play the lead, in a role that sees her kick ass for once!
