Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh return to Mumbai for Phillauri promotions

Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh snapped in Mumbai after Delhi promotions of Phillauri

Actors Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh are hopping from one venue to another for the promotions of the upcoming movie, Phillauri. The movie is due to hit theatres on March 24, 2016, and the makers are making sure to touch every possible platform to promote their film. After a promotional spree in Delhi, the actors were snapped back in Mumbai on March 23, 2017.

Anushka looked great in a Vizyon skirt and a white top with Fendi shoes, while Diljit was seen wearing white denims and a black Gucci t-shirt.

Before the movie was released, Anushka held a special screening for her friends and colleagues from the industry. Shah Rukh, who worked with Anushka on her debut movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi wrote on Twitter, “Phillauri the attempt at doing wot u believe in. @AnushkaSharma @diljitdosanjh keep believing in the impossible.”

The multi-talented actress and producer has no time to relax even after the promotions of Phillauri end. Anushka will start shooting for the upcoming Rajkumar Hirani movie based on Sanjay Dutt’s life. In the yet untitled biopic, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing Sanjay Dutt. Reports say that the actor has worked hard on his looks to resemble like Dutt, and will appear in six different avatars of the troubled star.

Anushka is ready and all excited with her second production venture after her thriller flick, NH 10. The earlier production venture was based on the subject of honor killings in India and Phillauri is a new genre for Anushka as a producer. The trailer of the rom-com looks impressive and has left the audience waiting for its release. Anushka will be seen playing a friendly and a beautiful ghost. The movie also stars Suraj Sharma, who’s character gets married to a tree, but then Shashi (Anushka’s character) claims that he was married to her instead of the tree. She is ready to prove herself as a successful producer with Phillauri.
