Our desi Michael Jackson, Prabhu Deva turns a year older today!
The two time national award winner and ace Tollywood – Bollywood choreographer turns 44 years old today! Prabhu Deva is credited with choreographing and directing some of the best songs of Hindi cinema including the iconic Urvashi Urvashi, Kay Sera Sera, Main Aisa Kyun Hoon and Go Govinda.
Apart from making a name for himself in dancing and choreography, the talented artist has also directed commercially successful Bollywood films including Wanted, Rowdy Rathore, R Rajkumar, ABCD and ABCD 2.
Wanted was a savior for Salman Khan as after a series of duds at the box office, Salman once again rose to fame with Prabh Deva’s hit direction. His dance moves in the movie too became very popular among the youth.
Prabhu Deva is a known name in South cinema and rose to fame with his hit song, Muqabala Muqabala, starring opposite Nagma in the 90s. This was his ticket to fame in Bollywood and then there was no looking back.
Recently Prabhu Deva made the headlines as it was announced that he had singed the lead role for a Hindi remake of the hit Tamil movie, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam. Ever since the news broke, his fans have been eagerly awaiting the film’s release! This movie will also star Tammanah Bhatia and will be their second movie together after Tutak Tutak Tutia, last year.
We are eagerly looking forward to his acting debut as the prime antagonist/ villian of the unnamed film and wish him the very best for the year ahead!
