Karan Johar shares his happiness of having twins with an Instagram post!

Proud Karan Johar is enjoying every minute of being a father to Yash and Roohi

Filmmaker Karan Johar is on a different kind of high these days. His latest film, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has already become the blockbuster of the year, but that’s not the only reason for him being over the moon. He can now add another name to the list of credentials – he is a proud father! A couple of weeks ago, the producer and director welcomed twins – a girl and a boy – and brought his double bundles of joy home for the first time.

Yash and Roohi have become the apple of their proud father’s eyes. And Karan Johar can just not hide his joy. This past weekend, he took to his Instagram account to post a small love note for his new twins. The image read: “Sometimes miracles come in pairs” and he captioned the image, “I couldn’t resist putting this up!! #stateofmind”

Indeed, the birth of his babies is a true miracle and an ode to science. His twins were conceived through artificial insemination and carried by the surrogate mother, who remains anonymous for birthing these double miracles. Yash and Roohi were born prematurely and remain under intensive care for now, but their father is pulling all the stops to make sure they are nursed back to health and grow into healthy babies.

In fact, he hired the talent of none other than Gauri Khan to design and decorate his babies’ nursery. It comes with state-of-the-art medical facilities to help them recuperate safely. Already a number of Bollywood celebrities have lined up to visit Yash and Roohi, welcoming them home. Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year co-stars, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra were one of the first ones to drop in at his luxury residence.

Yash and Roohi are as of now, doing great and papa Karan Johar couldn’t be more proud to be their father. We wish the twins a speedy recovery and extend our congratulations to Karan Johar.
