Hrithik Roshan is fond of dogs. A source close to the actor says he got a pet home a few weeks ago. “Since Hrithik loves dogs, he decided to get himself and his kids — Hrehaan and Hridhaan — a pet. He bought a three-month-old golden retriever,” says the source. Hrithik and his sons have named the dog Zane. “Hrehaan and Hridhaan love playing with him. The three of them were so excited to have a pet that they went shopping for Zane. They bought a lot of accessories. They are also keeping a track of his medical records. Even when Hrithik is traveling, he ensures he is in touch with his staff for updates on Zane,” adds the insider.
Hrithik says that Zane has become his hug-buddy. The Bollywood revealed in an interview that, “Zane has become my ‘hug buddy’. He is always ready to give love. Ray n Ridz (Hrehaan and Hridhaan) wanted a name that wasn’t an obvious dog name, and more of a human name. Zane is loving. He is a bundle of joy. He also seems wise. He is gentle and understanding. With Hrehaan, Hridhaan and now Zane, there is extra joy in returning home after a hard day’s work. My home feels complete.”
