Actors Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor launched Half Girlfriend trailer video and a new movie poster at an event in Mumbai on April 10, 2017. The event was also attended by author and co-producer Chetan Bhagat and director Mohit Suri.
The story is about a small town boy Madhav played by Arjun, who falls in love with a Delhi girl Riya. The trailer has shown a quirky Madhav in an interview as he struggles to talk in English in a Bihari accent. Riya, who is the most happening girl in the college, spends time with Madhav as his Half Girlfriend.
Recently, Arjun Kapoor even featured in a video which asks the question – “Yeh Half Girlfriend Hota Kya Hai?”
For the first time Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will be seen sharing the screen space. This will be refreshing for the audience to see a new couple on the silver screens. Shraddha was last seen in the movie Ok Jaanu opposite Aditya Roy Kapur while Arjun was last seen in the movie Ki & Ka opposite actress Kareena Kapoor. Half Girlfriend releases on May 19, 2017.
