Revealed! Rajkumar Rao’s first look from Raabta as 324 years old man

National award winning actor Rajkumar Rao will be seen in Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s Raabta as a 324 year old man

The official movie trailer of Raabta was released four days ago on April 17 and has revealed the entire story line of the movie. It’s a love story with a twist of re-birth, revenge, jealously and spans across a time period of 300 years. The trailer is packed with love, intrigue, action scenes and ends with an element of surprise. But there’s more to Raabta’s trailer – if you look closely, at the end one can spot a mysterious looking character with ragged skin. This is none other than Rajkumar Rao! He looks completely un-recognizable in his avatar of a 324 year old man in the trailer and we hope to see more of this character before the movie releases.

As reported by leading dailies, the film’s team did sixteen character look tests before picking the final one. Director Dinesh Vijan and Rajkumar Rao sat through the entire process along with the team to get the final look in place.  Talking about this entire experience, director Dinesh Vijan said, “Rajkummar was kind enough to do me a favour. It was tedious but, he patiently sat through it everyday. I think, the idea of the prosthetics making him completely unrecognizable excited him as an actor.”

For the role, Rajkumar Rao did not only have to undergo 5 – 6 hours of max and prosthetics application but also needed to work on his body posture and voice modulation. It is indeed not easy to portray a 300 year old man! Talking about his cameo in the movie Rajkumar quoted, “It was so much fun as an actor. Dinoo has a very clear vision as a director and he gave me a lot of freedom as an actor to explore. The prosthetics used to take almost five to six hours everyday and then I would start sweating inside all that make-up. It needed quite a bit of patience.”

Raabta releases on June 9, 2017 and stars rumored real life couple Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput in lead roles. Fans are eager to see the couple’s reel life chemistry on screens for the first time. Rajkumar Rao even Tweeted a picture of his first look from Raabta, check it out –
