Abhishek Bachchan spreads awareness about the importance of conserving the environment at Green Heroes Film festival
Actor Abhishek Bachchan talked about the importance of protecting our environment during an era when our generation is inching towards global environmental destruction. The Refugee actor was a part of the Green Heroes Film Festival held in Mumbai on April 25, 2017. The TERI and the U.S. Consulate General Mumbai have joined hands to talk about stories of the unsung Green Heroes from India’s western region.
Abhishek for the event looked dapper in a black suit and interacted with the media and audience. The Housefull 3 actor during the event said, “Congratulations to all the film makers, to the consulate general of US and India. Me and the family have worked with TERI for several years and they do great work in not just spreading the word but also in encouraging the youth. I am so happy that people are joining with them to spread the word.”
Jr. Bachchan during his interaction constantly stressed towards the need for conserving the environment to have a bright future. On the professional front, the actor was last seen in Housefull 3 directed by Sajid-Farhad and has a number of upcoming projects lines up for 2017 and 2018. Abhishek has been roped in for the upcoming film Bachchan Singh by Priyadarshan and Lefty by Prabhu Deva. The actor is also a part of Nishikant Kamat’s untitled movie due to release in 2018.
Abhishek made his debut in Bollywood with the film Refugee opposite actress Kareena Kapoor and since then has worked in some of the popular movies like Yuva, Hum Tum, Dhoom, Sarkar, Salaam Namaste, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Umrao Jaan, Dostana, Delhi 6, Raavan, Bol Bachchan, Happy New Year, The Shaukeens and All Is Well.
