Actress Nimrat Kaur attended the premiere event of the web series The Test Case by ALT Balaji in Mumbai on May 5, 2017. The Lunchbox actress looked glamorous at the premiere event in a striped crop top a blue palazzo.
The premiere event also saw the presence of Rahul Dev and Atul Kulkarni. Nimrat in the web series will be seen playing a part of a combat force in the military. The web series is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor and narrates the story of the first woman cadet trained for combat. The Test Case talks about the overall idea of enrolling women in the combat force and also stars Atul Kulkarni, Juhi Chawla and Rahul Dev in important roles. The show started airing on Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji ALT app from April 30, 2017.
The first season of The Test Case will air 12 fictional episode, 30 minutes long and are inspired by President Pranab Mukherjee’s statement last year on inducting women in all roles of combat. Nimrat plays the role of Capt Sharma in the series and was last seen in the movie Airlift opposite Akshay Kumar. We are excited to see her on this new medium!
