As promised, makers of the movie Tubelight launched the much awaited trailer at an event in Mumbai on May 25, 2017. The launch event saw filmmaker Kabir Khan, Salman Khan, musician Pritam and Sohail Khan, who interacted with the media.
Salman during the launch event seemed in a good mood and did not dodge a single question. The actor during the media interaction also remembered his co-star Om Puri who passed away recently. Salman also talked about his late co-stars Reema Lagoo and Vinod Khanna, with whom he has worked in many films.
The Dabangg actor also talked about Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and said, “Bahubali is a phenomenal success. I haven’t watched the film yet. Every film has its destiny. We made Bajrangi Bhaijaan before Bahubali 1 and now we are bringing Tubelight after Bahubali 2, so the pressure is on our CEO. I don’t take any pressure.”
Coming to the trailer, it is expected to feature some action packed sequences. The official Twitter page of the film posted, “Some adrenaline-pumping action sequences await all of you in the #TubelightTrailer!” Since the movie is based on the Indo-Sino war, the trailer might also have a few sequences from the war.
Kabir Khan in an earlier interview revealed that the film is the official remake of the film Little Boy and that they have bought the rights from the writer. This is the third collaboration between Salman Khan and Kabir Khan after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dabangg 2. The duo has once again selected a cross border story after the huge success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan which was based on characters of India and Pakistan.
