Sonakshi Sinha & Baba Ramdev to judge Life OK musical reality show, Om Shanti Om

Here’s some exciting news for Sonakshi Sinha fans! You will soon be able to catch her on television on a new singing reality show for Life OK titled, Om Shanti Om. But that’s not it – Sonakshi Sinha will be joined by singer Kanika Kapoor, singer-composer Shekhar Ravjiani and yoga guru Baba Ramdev.

Reportedly, the trio has already started shooting for the show’s first episode and will be joined by Ranveer Singh as the first celebrity guest, while television actress Mouni Roy and rapper Badshah will be seen in guest performances at the grand opening. Shooting began on August 1, 2017 in a Powai studio. It has also been confirmed by an unnamed source that Aparshakti Khurrana of Dangal and Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame will be the show’s host.

While it is still not confirmed if Baba Ramdev is a permanent member of the judge’s panel of will be seen on Om Shanti Om only for a few episodes, it is expected that he will be teaching contestants and judges some of his signature yoga asanas. The yoga guru seems to have gotten extremely camera friendly over the last few months as he was last seen as a guest judge on Nach Baliye 8 as he joined Sonakshi Sinha, Terence Lewis and Mohit Suri on the panel.

As confirmed by sources close to the singing reality show’s production, Om Shanti Om will focus more on spirituality rather than competition. “Ramdev will share insight and teachings with the contestants as well as the audience. He will be a part of the show for a few episodes,” the source revealed.

On Tuesday, Sonakshi Sinha even shared a post on Instagram captioned, “Back to the grind and loving it! Shooting for something super special and the first of its kind… will announce soon!” We can only speculate that it’s related to her latest stint on television.
