Arjun Rampal promoted his upcoming film Daddy on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show in Mumbai on August 15, 2017. The sets also saw co-star Aishwarya Rajesh, who will be seen playing the role of Asha Gawli. Arjun will be seen playing the role of the famous gangster-turned-politician, Arun Gawli.
The lead actors were photographed having fun with the characters of the show including Kiku Sharda and Sumona Chakraborthy. Arjun looked dapper in a suit while Aishwarya appeared in a peach and white outfit. The actors not just interacted with the actors but also had a great time shaking a leg.
The upcoming film is directed by Ashim Ahluwalia and is produced by Arjun Rampal and Rutvij Patel. The film is based on the life of Arun Gawli, who started off in underworld with the Byculla Company. After the leader Rama Naik, was killed in a police encounter, Arun took over the gang and started operating from his residence at Dagdi Chawl.
