Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez will share the screen space again in Race 3
This could be great news for Salman Khan fans – the Tubelight actor will be replacing Saif Ali Khan for the next in Race franchise – Race 3. News agencies report that Jacqueline Fernandez who is currently promoting her film, A Gentleman with Siddharth Malhotra, releasing on August 25, has spilled the beans: the Kick co-actors, Salman and Jacqueline will be seen together again in Race 3.
When speaking to a news agency, Jacqueline stated: “After Judwaa 2, I am working on Drive, that is Tarun Mansukhani’s next with Sushant (Singh Rajput) and then it is Salman’s Race 3.”

While Jacqueline was there in Race 2 as well that released in the year 2013, this will be the first time when Salman would be in the male lead for a movie in the Race franchise.
The Nawab of Pataudi had so far aced the role of the hero in Race and Race 2, pitted against Akshay Khanna in the first part and John Abraham in the second. The third installment of this action thriller will reportedly not feature Saif anymore.
Another major change that might take place with Race 3 is the change in the person helming the film – while it was Abbas-Mustan’s directorial venture so far, Remo D’Souza, the renowned choreographer-director might reportedly don the director’s hat for this one. The National award winning choreographer had started his directorial journey in Bollywood with the movie, F.A.L.T.U. that achieved moderate success at the box office. He had also been on the judge panel for a dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa along with actress Madhuri Dixit and filmmaker Karan Johar. He is currently one of the main judges on the show, Dance+ and his notable contributions as a director to the Hindi film industry has been the making of India’s first 3D dance movie, ABCD (AnyBody Can Dance) and its sequel, ABCD 2.
Though there has been no official confirmation regarding roping in Remo as the director of Race 3, it would be quite exciting to view him in the director’s chair once again, especially for an action-thriller film.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline is busy promoting her upcoming film in the capital city that features Sidharth Malhotra in a double role.
