Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra were clicked by photographers who were later beaten by restaurant bouncers

Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra were snapped at the Bastian restaurant in Mumbai on September 7, 2017. The star couple smiled and posed for the cameras that were waiting to click them. But as soon as they left, the bouncers at the restaurant assaulted two of the photographers.

The incident was criticized by the actress when she came to know about the brawl and released a statement on her official Instagram page, “I posed for them before I left and the next thing I knew, they got into fisticuffs violently when I left. They are part of my fraternity and no one needs to be beaten for doing his job.” The Dhadkan actress added that she was appalled and disappointed.

Shilpa added that the incident was unnecessary and felt bad for the people who were beaten up as they sometimes stand for hours together to get a shot. The restaurant where the incident happened is often visited by Bollywood celebrities.
