Amitabh Bachchan’s show Kaun Banega Crorepati is currently in its ninth season. As the episodes progresses, the show continues to garner highest Television Rating Points. Since the launch of the new season, the show has been at the top and has also left behind various popular TV shows and reality shows.
Data shared by the Broadcast Audience Research Council India Website, the game show has earned 11533000 impressions during the week 40. The show Kundali Bhagya stood on the second spot while Kaala Teeka was at the third spot, Kum Kum Bhagya came fourth while Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi finished in the fifth position.
On the other hand, Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11 could not even make it to the top five in the first week of its beginning. The fresh season of the most controversial TV show started off on October 1, 2017. This season, there are just a few celebrity faces compared to the earlier seasons, which has clearly indicated why the show is losing its importance. The show Kaun Banega Crorepati recently saw Anamika Majumdar, a social worker from Jamshedpur win 1 crore on the show.
Host Amitabh Bachchan’s 75th birthday was also celebrated on the KBC 9 sets when he was surprised with an emotional video from his old school arranged by the KBC team.
