Makers of Secret Superstar hosted a special screening of the film in Mumbai on October 16, 2017. The screening event saw the presence of lead actress Zaira Wasim with her friends Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh, Aamir Khan, Anil Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Bhushan Kumar, Sachin Tendulkar, Rajkumar Hirani, Rajkummar Rao, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Aparshakti Khurrana and others.
The Dangal girls Zaira, Sanya and Fatima were snapped bonding with each other and posed together for the shutterbugs. The lead actress of Secret Superstar Zaira looked pretty in a white top and blue wide-legged pants while Fatima appeared in a red top and a white skirt. Sanya looked pretty in a black printed outfit and a denim jacket.
Zaira will be seen playing the role of a 14 year old girl, Insia, who wishes to become a singing superstar. Aamir will be seen playing the role of a music composer. The makers recently released the song Sexy Baliye featuring Aamir who has shown off some hilarious dance moves. The video managed to garner a lot of views and was appreciated by the audience and critics. The song is choreographed by Sanya Malhotra.
The film also stars Meher Vij, Raj Arjun, Harsh Jha, Kabir Sajid and Aryan Ashik. Secret Superstar is directed by Advait Chandan and jointly produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Akash Chawla, Sujay Kutty and Shrinivas Rao.
