Sonam Kapoor and filmmaker R Balki have for the first time come together for the upcoming film Padman. The film is produced by Twinkle Khanna and has Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Sonam and R Balki were snapped together in Mumbai on January 11, 2018.
The makers of the film are busy gearing up for the release of the film on January 25, 2018. Sonam looked stylish in casuals while R Balki was seen in a black t-shirt and grey track pants. The upcoming film is produced under the banner of Mrs. Funnybones Productions and will mark the debut of Twinkle as a producer.
Padman also stars Radhika Apte, who will be seen playing Akshay’s wife. Sonam was last seen in the film Neerja, for which she also won a National award. Apart from Padman, the actress is also filming for the films Veere Di Wedding and the much awaited Sanjay Dutt biopic. Sonam will reportedly play the role of Tina Munim in the biopic.
