Bollywoodgaram.com: The 25th edition of the Araaish Trousseau exhibition was held at The Four Seasons in Mumbai, which celebrated the 25 years of Save The Children India. The exhibition was hosted by Isha Mehra, Mana Shetty, Sharmilla Khanna and Shaan Khanna and showcased designers including Mandira Bedi, Maheep Kapoor and Shehla Khan.
The event was attended by many Bollywood celebrities, including Kajol, Sridevi, Suneil Shetty, Smita and Sharmila Thackrey, Queenie Singh, Madhoo Shah and more. The exhibition showcased clothes, jewellery, handicraft and high-quality products which were made by adolescent girls and young women, who are part of the Women’s Institute for Social Education initiative.
The Save The Children India stall had quite a number of handcrafted products on display which were all made by adolescent girls and young women, who are with the Women’s Institute for Social Education initiative.
Mana Shetty, actor Sunil SHetty’s wife said, “Araaish was started as a tribute to my late mother, Mrs Vipula Kadri, and Araaish Trousseau will mark our 25th show. It is the perfect blend of the worlds of glamour and philanthropy, and will go a long way in enriching the lives of women and children who are less fortunate.”
