John Abraham and Diana Penty were present at the promotional shoot for their upcoming film Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran in Mumbai on February 22, 2018. This will be the first time John and Diana will be sharing the screen space and it will be interesting for the audience to seen a fresh pair together.
The film Parmanu is based on the nuclear bomb test explosions that was conducted by the Indian army at Pokhran in the year 1998. Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran also stars Boman Irani and is directed by Abhishek Sharma.
The makers of the film were earlier expected to release the film on December 8, 2017, but avoided a clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. The film is now scheduled for a release on April 8, 2018. Some of the major portions of the film has been shot at Pokhran, Delhi and Mumbai.
John during an earlier interview said, “Parmanu is an ode to the Army and scientists, who although ordinary people, truly accomplished extraordinary feats in the face of adversity to ensure that India finds its due place on the world nuclear map.” Composer duo Sachin-Jigar have composed the music for the film.
