Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor along with father Boney Kapor were snapped at the Mumbai airport as they left for Chennai on March 10, 2018. The Kapoor family was snapped leaving for Chennai to attend a prayer meet in memory of the legendary actress Sridevi who passed away in Dubai on February 24, 2018.
Janhvi Kapoor is back to work and is already shooting for her upcoming debut film Dhadak and took a short break to attend the prayer meet in Chennai. The prayer meet is organized by some of the close friends of Sridevi in the Tamil Film industry. Sridevi’s daughters Janhvi and Khushi were appreciated by many for the courage that they maintained despite their mother’s untimely death. Janhvi is also appreciated for showing her professionalism by returning to work in a short time after the death of her mother. The upcoming debutant also celebrated her 21st birthday on March 6, 2018 and had a low key celebration amidst immediate family members.
Janhvi was back to work on the sets of Dhadak two days after her birthday. The film is the Hindi remake of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat and will be released in theatres on July 20, 2018. The 54 year old actress was brought back to Mumbai by a private jet on February 27, 2018 and was cremated on February 28, 2018 before a grand funeral procession was organized from the condolence meet venue to the cremation venue. The ashes of the actress were immersed in Rameswaram and Haridwar. Reports say that Boney Kapoor had broken down when the rituals were being conducted in Haridwar.
