BollywoodGaram.com: Bollywood filmmaker Boney Kapoor has recently received death threats over the phone. The reports have stated that the producer received a call from an unidentified person, who is suspected to be linked to underworld don Ravi Pujari’s gang. The police said on September 5, 2013 that the caller had given death threats to the producer.
The anonymous caller allegedly threatened Kapoor, saying that two of his men were arrested because of the producer and that he wanted to get revenge now. The police also mentioned that the caller has allegedly threatened to shoot down Boney, who is also the husband of veteran actress Sridevi.
Close friends of the producer say that he has been receiving calls and messages for the past two days, but no specific demand has been made so far. In February 2012, the house of the producer was burgled and cash and jewellery worth Rs. 6 lakh was stolen from him. In connection with this incident, two of the accused were arrested. The burglary happened at the Magnum Society compound in Andheri area of Mumbai.
Kapoor is a popular producer in the industry and made several blockbuster movies in the past. Boney is married to Sridevi and has four children – Jhanvi and Khushi with Sridevi and Arjun and Anshula with his former wife Mona Kapoor.
