Bollywood’s classic film Sadak released in 1991 was a romantic thriller directed by Mahesh Bhatt and had become the seventh highest grossing Hindi film of the 90s decade. The film had Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in lead roles and now the makers are planning to make Sadak 2. Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt were snapped outside the Mahesh Bhatt’s office in Mumbai on April 12, 2018.
The actors were snapped post a discussion on Sadak 2. There are reports that Alia Bhatt will be a part of the sequel. As soon as Sanjay and Alia came out of the office, they were surrounded by fans. Sanjay was all smiles while Alia made sure she waved and smiled for the paparazzi.
Sanjay looked dapper in a casual grey t-shirt and blue denims while Alia was seen in a black outfit from a distance. Mahesh Bhatt, in a recent interview talked about Sadak 2 and said, “Sanjay who was 32 when we made the original, comes back as a 54-year-old Ravi into the 21st-century world that is collapsing in front of his eyes, where the distinction between the house and the ‘sadak’ is fast disappearing. The story has the emotional connect of the films I made back in the’90s which brought a lump to the throats of the viewer. I could see that in the reaction of those present at the narration. They were visibly moved.”
There are reports that Sidharth Malhotra and Alia will be seen playing a young couple in the flick.
