Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor along with director Umesh Shukla, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, and Jimit Trivedi launched the song Badumbaa from the film 102 Not Out at an event in Mumbai on April, 19, 2018.
The song Badumbaa has been penned down by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the concept was decided on the last day of the shoot. Mr. Bachchan has composed the song while Rishi Kapoor has lent his voice. Umesh Shukla while talking to a leading daily said, “It is a promotional song in which the actors will be seen in their screen avatars. We decided to play around with Chintuji (Rishi) and Bachchanji’s chemistry. Initially, we had thought of a medley of their past chartbusters like Lambuji Tinguji from Coolie and Chal Mere Bhai from Naseeb. But Bachchanji suggested that we make a new song and that’s how Badumbaaa happened”.
Amitabh will be seen playing the role of a 102 year old man while Rishi will be seen playing the role of his 75 year old son. The film is releasing on May 4, 2018.
